OUR PROMISE TO YOU:
We are a values-driven dance school committed to high standards of Afro-Latin dance teaching. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for you to learn the skills you need to dance Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba with anyone, anywhere. Concepts of body movement awareness, technique, musicality, timing, style and more, are covered throughout our courses.
We believe in customer service and try to act on suggestions made by participants to the best of our ability.

SOCIAL ETTIQUETTE:

• All dancers are expected to comply with COVID-19 spread prevention efforts.
• All dancers are expected to be respectful towards other dancers. All complaints of inappropriate behaviour will be seriously addressed.
• Refrain from advertising external schools and events unless pre-authorised by the RCDA Director, Liliana.
• Aggression towards staff, students or dancers will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
• Hygiene and cleanliness are paramount. Some mints and deodorant are provided.
• Applies to all dancers and students participating in RCDA events at Pagoda Resort & Spa.

REFUND POLICY:

• Payments for tuition for full courses, casual classes, other purchases and prizes are nonrefundable and non-transferable for change of mind or unavailability. Credit can be arranged for a purchased full course if enable to participate and communicated straight away, and not retrospectively. This communication needs to be made directly to the school director Liliana.
• Any exchanges for dance styles are possible if discussed and agreed by RCDA director, Liliana.
• If you know ahead of time that you will miss a significant number of classes (3+) or work FIFO, you will need to communicate this to the school director ASAP, not retrospectively.
• If you choose to discontinue classes and do not complete the course(s) you were enrolled for, you are not entitled to receive credit or refund for the missed classes.
• If you miss a class it is your responsibility to obtain a copy of the video from one of the other class participants. Teachers do not possess the class videos.

Students will be progressed/regressed as standards and goals are met. If you are unsure please see your teacher and they will be able to discuss that with you.

COVID-19 POLICY:
In the event of a COVID-19 related lockdown or need to temporarily suspend classes due to wa.gov mandate, classes will be postponed until such time they are allowed to recommence. We will honour a credit for the classes not delivered due to cancelled or postponed classes. This has to be claimed upon the return of the first class after the lockdown or suspension. Ritmo Caliente Dance Academy reserves the right to modify classes according to wa.gov mandates. Students and dancers will be requested to show proof of full vaccination and wear masks whilst dancing if that mandate is indicated by wa.gov at the time.

We request all staff, students and dancers maintain a high standard of personal responsibility and hygiene at all times. Insufficient adherence to the following can lead to removal from the premises:

• Adhere to contact tracing requirements upon entry.
• Regular hand sanitising AND hand washing. Hand sanitiser will also be available.
• Refrain from attending dance classes or events if you are feeling unwell.
• Changing and/or showering prior to dancing if necessary.

RCDA wishes to maintain a fun, safe environment and requests that all staff, students, dancers and visitors uphold the greatest respect for different backgrounds, levels of ability, personal boundaries and each other.

RCDA reserves the right to prohibit entry to our classes or events.
