Born to Italian parents and raised in Argentina, Liliana's Latin roots ensured a lifelong a passion for dance. As one of Western Australia's finest salsa and bachata performers/instructors, Liliana Sputore epitomises the "essence and feel" of Latin dancing.
Born and raised in Argentina by Italian parents, Liliana's Latin roots ensured a lifelong a passion for dance. As one of Western Australia's finest salsa and bachata performers/instructors, Liliana Sputore epitomises the "essence and feel" of Latin dancing.
Liliana has trained locally and overseas (Europe, Argentina, US and Asia) in a variety of styles. From the more modern rhythms of hip-hop, funk, to the traditional roots of tango, salsa, mambo, cha-cha bachata, kizomba and zouk . She learned from teachers such as the famous Eddie Torres ("The King of Mambo"), Frankie Martinez, Seaon "Stylist" Bristol, Candy Mena, Griselle Ponse, Nelson Flores , Jhesus Aponte, Daniel & Desiree, Korke and Judith, Alex Alberola, and more. After mastering Cuban salsa, she expanded to LA, New York and Puerto Rican ("on 2") styles. She is also well versed in the modern Domincan style of Bachata and mastered sensual bachata. Liliana has evolved to be equally comfortable with traditional styles and the modern evolution of Latin dance.
After years of training, she has evolved a personal style deeply rooted in the rhythms of Latin music. Liliana specialises in ladies styling for both salsa and bachata. Her dance experience has fostered her passionate enthusiasm for encouraging women to discover their own sensuality through dance, learning to express themselves through music. Lilana's students experience increased self-confidence, flare, attitude and passion, including development of their own authentic styles. In her career as a successful professional, she has learnt how to communicate and teach with groups of all sizes and ability levels
